InSight EyeCare offers same day glasses in Cibolo for eligible prescriptions through our on-site optical lab. Whether you have lost or broken your glasses, need an updated prescription, or want a backup pair, we may be able to prepare your glasses the day you order them, sometimes within one or two hours.
Availability depends on your prescription and the lenses we have in stock. Call (210) 659-3937 for more information about your options.
On-site optical lab
Having an optical lab in our office allows us to finish eligible orders without sending them to an outside lab. We edge stocked lenses to fit your selected frame, mount them, and verify the finished prescription. When you pick up your glasses, we check the fit and make adjustments for comfort and positioning.
This process combines faster turnaround with the measurements, prescription checks, and fitting attention that your glasses require.
Our optical offers more than 800 frames, with choices ranging from budget-friendly styles to premium luxury brands. We can help you select a frame that works with your prescription, preferences, and budget.
How long will your glasses take?
Some eligible orders can be completed within one or two hours. Others take longer, depending on lens availability and the work involved.
Progressive lenses and certain other lens options generally require additional time since they need to go to a specialty lab. We will explain the expected timing for your particular glasses and discuss a temporary single-vision option when appropriate.
Do I need a new eye exam?
You can bring a valid eyeglass prescription from another office. You do not need to have a new exam at InSight EyeCare simply to order glasses.
If you need an updated prescription, you can schedule a comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Sturm. Glasses turnaround depends on the prescription and lenses selected, so an exam appointment does not guarantee same day glasses.
